This past MLK weekend was a great weekend to go shopping!!! Sales everywhere. I especially liked the Disney sales and went a tiny bit overboard. I bought a few stuffed animals and a lovely v-neck cut women's t-shirt. All for under $20!
I usually go to the Disney Outlet in Fullerton and have a hard time finding the right outfit, however the mall was the place to be this past weekend! I found great sales on jewelry and accessories at Forever 21 and JcPenney as well.
Last but not least, I went to a thrift store and found 4 cute tops and a handful of books for my niece and for myself. Savers in Anaheim is a tiny thrift store with lots of great finds. (Especially the book section) Highly recommend it! They have several stores located throughout Orange County. For locations, please check out their website at www.savers.com
If you have any tips on finding a bargain, let me know!
Bargain vocab of the day is:
Showrooming; the act of trying on or testing out a product in a brick-and-mortar shop before purchasing it online from another retailer.
In a sentence: Can you believe that woman? Searching for those jeans online while standing in our dressing room? Showrooming is so tacky.
(Jargon borrowed from article in Entrepreneur magazine, February 2013)
